Father who lost daughter in Haiti earthquake building orphanage [HQ]
(FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) – The father of a Massachusetts college student who died in the Haiti earthquake says he’s successfully found some land where he plans to build an orphanage named for his daughter.
Britney Gengel was on a humanitarian mission with other students from Lynn University in Florida when the earthquake hit in January. She was missing for 33 days before her body was recovered.
Britney’s father, Len Gengel, and her brother, Bernie, recently joined the FOX25 Morning News to talk more about the orphanage being built for Britney.
