And then there were 30! Please welcome 8 year old Marie Flaure to Be Like Brit!
Marie Flaure came to us from the local community this morning. We had visited her home several times in the past, and as we saw the conditions she was living in continue to worsen, we decided it was time to bring her home to Be Like Brit.
Please give her a big Be Like Brit Welcome!!!
Good Morning on this FABULOUS Friday! This is Brit at 9 years old in her Triple A uniform (CA was her coach for T-ball & Len was her baseball coach for 4 yrs). Brit played 2nd base while she played baseball until her MEAN mother had her stop playing with the boys and had her start playing softball with the girls! She loved softball but never let her mom forget what she did~ Have a Fabulous weekend!
Thanks to our good friend and Britsionary Lauren G., our children are all sporting spiffy new tie-dyed t-shirts! The children just love these shirts and it was so much fun to watch them get involved!
Have you thought about coming to Haiti and spending a week with us? Check out our website for more information on our Britsionary program!!!
Melissa worked with Brendan at Kimley-Horn (a civil engineering consulting firm) and is here in Haiti to help build a home in her friend’s memory! She is hard at work with the other Britsionarys and Haitian laborers!

Please welcome Andreline, age 8 to Be Like Brit! Andreline comes to us from the local mountain community and has been here with us since this morning.
We’ve assigned her a buddy (one of the girls she’ll be sharing a room with!) and think she will settle in just fine!
Please give a big Be Like Brit welcome to Andreline!!!
