Hands and Feet Orphanage comes by with there friends from Long Island who are doing missionary work for a week!!! Love how we keep getting more folks from the states to come visit and spread the word of how Be like Brit is helping the children of Haiti!!!

Orphanage License

Filling out the Orphanage license application in French today was quite challenging, what an awakening moment realizing a year from now we will have little children running around Brit’s Orphanage!!! Thanks to Pastor Lex and his French Teacher at Mission of Hope International School, we have almost completed the application!!! Keeping the Faith in Haiti and the USA!!!

Ready for the 2nd Floor Concrete Pouring Tomorrow, Moved Concrete Batch Plant up the Hill to Be like Brit, Check: Built a Concrete Trough, Check: 6 loads of Stone, Check: 4 loads of Sand, Check: 350 bags of cement, Check: Stairs in Place, Check: Double Check the Electrical and Diesel the Plywood, Check: Please Pray for us tomorrow, it’s our first 2nd story pour!!! Clean Water

Clean Water is not a given right in Haiti and that is why we share our water with the Mountain Folks! As you can see most people in Haiti carry 5 gallon buckets of water to their homes, tents or shacks, they use this to cook rice and beans with or wash dishes or take a bath in and even drink, it’s better than river water! We have embraced our neighbors as they have us and together we will improve the quality of life in Haiti!!!

Rough Electrical

Finished the Rough Electrical today at 5:30pm, Want to Thank Greg Smith of Granite City Electric in Quincy, Mass who donated all the Smurf tube, wire, boxes, I mean everything and then to come down and figure out the circuits, then snake the wires is amazing to say the least!!! Greg is pictured with Delvar and all the guys who ran wire all week long!!!
