In Britney’s memory, her family has established a non profit organization called Be Like Brit; whose mission is to serve the children of Haiti by establishing a safe, nurturing and sustainable orphanage in an environment where they can grow, learn & thrive. Be Like Brit is able to operate because of the generous support of our partners. If you would like to join with us by giving a donation, you can do so in various ways.
Corporate Matching Gifts
Corporate matching gifts are a great way for our supporters to maximize personal contributions to Be Like Brit and increase the impact of their gift. By taking advantage of a company’s matching gift benefit, you may be able to double or even triple the amount of a contribution.
How do I get my gift matched?
First, find out if your company has a matching gift program.
Each company has its own guidelines for employees, spouses, retirees, and widows/widowers. Most corporate procedures are simple:
*Request a Matching Form from your company.
*Complete and submit the form to Be Like Brit along with your gift.
*Be Like Brit will verify the completed form and return it to the company.
*The company issues a matching gift contribution to Be Like Brit.
*Completed forms can be sent with your personal gift to:

Starting this year, hundreds of people come to Haiti with Be Like Brit. Short-term mission trips are a great way to serve while becoming aware of the needs around you.

Tradespeople Trips to Haiti
Some of the work that needs to be done is not common in Haiti, and we would like American tradespeople to help build and teach their Haitian counterparts their skills and techniques. We are in need of skilled finish carpenters, cabinetmakers, and painters to volunteer with BLB to help finish the construction of Brit’s orphanage.
