As we reflect on the holiday season at Be Like Brit, we are filled with gratitude, joy, and hope. From the Christmas Eve Concert to Christmas Day, it has been a time of celebration, reflection, and giving back. We are so thankful for our Be Like Brit family and the incredible support we continue to receive from our global community.
A Magical Christmas Concert & Christmas Day
The Be Like Brit Christmas Concert was a beautiful event where our children shared their talents with us. Watching them on stage, you could feel the spirit of Christmas in every note, every dance move, and every smile.
On Christmas Day, our Be Like Brit family gathered together to celebrate the season of love, joy, and giving. Our children woke up to a Christmas filled with gifts, laughter, and the warmth of family. It was a time to reflect on how far we've come and the many blessings that have come from our collective work. The holiday was not just about receiving, but about giving back to those in need, something that is at the heart of Be Like Brit.

As we continue the holiday season, we want to highlight the 5 Days, 5 Ways We Give Back campaign. Over the next few days, we’ll be sharing stories of how Be Like Brit impacts the lives of our children and community and how you can help make a difference too.
We’re kicking things off with a story that shows how much our children grow, learn, and thrive living Brit’s home.
The Power of Family: Choudly and Joobens First Generation & Second Generation
Meet Choudly and Joobens. These two remarkable young men are living proof of the impact Be Like Brit has had on the lives of children in Haiti.
In the early days of Be Like Brit, Joobens, the youngest of 9 children, arrived at Be Like Brit in 2014 with his siblings after their mother, who had previously been too ill to secure the necessary paperwork, returned desperate for help. Joobens has learned and grown so much over the past 10 years, becoming an outgoing and funny kid who now gives back to the second generation children like Choudly and helps continue to raise the next generation of leaders. Choudly arrived at our home quiet and unwell, and today, he is flourishing. He is growing and discovering his personality alongside the older generation. The stability, love, and guidance he found at Be Like Brit will help to shape his future.
Choudly and Joobens are the living embodiment of what we strive to achieve at Be Like Brit: a legacy of hope, empowerment, and giving back.
